Double Duty Donating-only a few days left

For each pink ribbon medallion sold, 50 cents donated to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.  Also, until Oct 31 we will also continue to donate 10% of sales to AARCS, our charity of them month (Alberta Animal Rescue Crew).  The pink ribbon medallions are a great way to show your team, club, family or running group  support for a great cause, and look great at the same time! Breast cancer is a complex disease that will affect 1 in 9 Canadian women during their lifetime.In 2013, it is estimated that 23,800 Canadian women and 200 Canadian men will be diagnosed with breast cancer.Use any of the Yoshi-Bella jewelry with the pink ribbon medallions.  As you can see from the photo, the combinations...

Summer Heat

It was a hot summer here in Calgary, and Yoshi-Bella likes to relax in the shade.  It is hard to believe that school starts tomorrow. Highlights of our summer included a family camping trip, and without too many bugs Yoshi-Bella was happy!  She got stung by a wasp last year and now any buzzing insect sends her to her kennel inside the trailer.  What do you do to relax?  I did not want to bring a ton of jewelry camping so I brought my cou-cou ca-choo fashionista necklace and a dainty band with about 12 different medallions.  I felt like I had switched up my look without lugging (and potentially losing!) a bunch of my jewelry.  Now that fall is...

Schools (almost) out for summer

if you have kids in your life you are probably very aware of the school year coming to a close.  I am having a lot of mixed feelings about the end of this year, which ends my youngest son's year in kindergarten.  How do you feel about school ending? I feel elation at no more packed lunches (oh wait, I have to pack a lunch for summer camp, never mind). I feel a bit guilty that I am looking forward to full time school next year, less complications and less child care expenses.  I feel melancholy that my youngest is finishing kindergarten, and proud and excited at his continued growth and development, and watching him turn into the young man...
